The Human Capital Management (HCM) team, which is part of Globalization Services at the SAP Labs Latin America, organized on June 6 a webinar with customers from Argentina. The main objective of the team was to provide SAP customers with accurate and up-to-date information about a legal change delivered earlier in the same month, which had high-impact changes on tax calculation and affected all Argentinian companies. This legal change derived from General Resolution 3770, published by the Federal Administration (AFIP), and required a very fast reaction from both SAP and customers to avoid potential financial losses.


Paula Montequin, the local product manager in Argentina, and a group of five people in São Leopoldo – including developers and managers – worked together to make this event successful. At the end of the event, customers were very satisfied as they could rely on SAP’s support and fast reaction to keep their businesses running.

The webinar was highly appreciated by the customers. Around 150 people representing 100 customers joined the event and could take advantage of this opportunity to clarify legal aspects and solve technical and business-related questions directly with the solution experts.


This initiative evidences SAP’s customer focus and care and is a great opportunity for SAP to understand the customers’ major concerns and needs. Based on the achieved results, the HCM team is looking forward to the next opportunity to organize customer events, and encourages other teams to do the same.
