On Tuesday afternoon, July 21th, 2015, SAP Labs China received a group of students from the global summer camp of Shanghai University of Finance & Economics. The students are from different countries and are composed of bachelor, master, MBA and EMBA. They hope they could know how SAP doing business in China through this visit. Josie gave a warm welcome to the students on behalf of University Alliances. Ni Ping, Executive Business Assistant Expert to SVP Clas Neumann gave a speech of “Innovation in China for China” and made an interaction with the students.

We were fortunate to have Josie, Program manager of University Alliances, presented at the beginning to lead a tour in SAP Labs office. She introduced the history and achievement of SAP Labs, the culture and life in SAP, variety of activities and comfortable working environment in SAP to the visitors.

A special thanks to Ni Ping from Labs Network & Fast Growth Market Group, who did an outstanding job making a wonderful speech for the audience. First, she gave an overview of SAP Labs Network and SAP in Greater China. Ni Ping illustrated the innovations in China for China and the world through three aspects: Game Changing Innovations, China Solutions Development, and Global Solutions Development. Then she raised two questions: Is innovation the solution for the challenges in emerging markets? How does Innovation happen in Emerging Markets? She also gave three examples to explain them. She ended the speech with the key challenges and success factors of SAP in China market.

In the final Q&A session, Ni Ping answered several questions prepared by visitors. They exchanged different opinions with each other. We were happy to see the activity has led to students’ impressive cognition of SAP Labs China.
