Hi Matthias - I enjoyed taking this session in the virtual SAP TechEd hands-on
Have you considered moving this blog to the SAP TechEd space here on SCN?
Tammy
Hi Tammy, good idea - I moved my blog to SAP TechEd space on SCN.
Kind regards, Matthias
Matthias, thanks for the tip. One question - how will be so much ground covered in a hands-on session? I've been to some sessions in 2013 and the presenters seemed to struggle to keep up even with much simpler projects.
Other than Lumira (which I already have and it's quite intuitive by itself) I'd be interested in such overview, but based on previous experience I feel a bit wary of the 4 hour sessions since last time there was a lot of sitting around waiting for some issues to be resolved.
Thank you.
Hi Jelena, the idea behind our workshop is to cover many topics at a high level to get an overview and the big picture. We start with a rather long (60 min) presentation where we already include live demos of the different topics. Afterwards, you still have three hours for the prepared exercises, where you can focus on the most interesting topics for you. Our exercises are like an appetizer for the topics, where we show the basic functionality. We actually spend a lot of time in the preparation of the exercises, so that attendees only do "the essential steps" and don't need too much time for each exercise.
For more details, we provide a list of other TechEd workshops which cover the individual topics in-depth. Probably you can give our workshop a try this year, and afterwards you can give feedback if it was valuable for you? We are willing to take this challenge, as we also got rather good feedback last year 😉 Kind regards, Matthias
