This summer we have enjoyed the opportunity to host 200+ faculty professors from SAP University Alliances member schools from across the Americas at the annual SAP University Alliances Summer Workshops at California State University, Chico and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Professors were be enabled on SAP Business Suite, Analytics, Lumira and HANA. We also introduced SAP Learning Hub - Academy Edition and Student Edition for the attendees. The pilot phase for SAP Learning Hub - Academy Edition has been successfully completed and this Edition will be the ONE single platform for all learning assets that faculties can bring into the classrooms including University Alliances curriculums, eLearnings from SAP Education, and openSAP. Additionally, faculties will have an opportunity to learn how SAP University Alliances is partnering with Festo Didactic to roll-out a global curriculum on Industry 4.0.
Workshop Offerings:
Introduction to SAP ERP: Participants are introduced to the SAP University Alliances program, SAP ERP, and best practices for teaching with University
Alliances curriculum. Core ERP processes will be covered using the "Introduction to SAP ERP using Global Bike Inc." curriculum with a focus on teaching the concepts, principles and techniques related to these processes and hands-on exercises.
SAP ERP Configuration using Global Bike: Participants are introduced to the “SAP ERP Configuration using Global Bike, Inc.” curriculum. Topics include: curriculum overview for SAP ERP Configuration; teaching system configuration; concepts, exercises and effective pedagogy; and guidance on preparing for first classroom use. After completing this workshop, professors are prepared to introduce hands-on SAP content into their configuration courses.
Analytics: Participants are introduced to analytic solutions from SAP including SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Lumira, SAP Predictive Analytics (includes Predictive Analysis and InfiniteInsight), and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse. Participants gain hands on experience with curriculum focusing on
self-service business intelligence scenarios including data visualization, data mining, dashboards, mobile apps, and how to leverage big datasets including Walmart/Sam's Club data at University of Arkansas.
HANA Application Development: Participants are introduced to SAP HANA and SAP HANA Cloud Platform. The workshop introduces new curriculum for teaching HANA application development using SAP UI5, both on-premise and extending into the cloud.
