My Inbox : All Items 0 Count Solution
Scenario : All Items Shows 0 count in Fiori Tile, even after all configurations.
For people facing issue with ALL ITEMS Tile in Fiori My Inbox. Many people here are seen with issues where the items are present in SAP Inbox, but after all the necessary configurations and resolving all basis related issue, Fiori Tile shows 0 Items.
1st step : Always check SCN SAP Fiori My Inbox page : SAP Fiori – My Inbox
Above page has all the updated documents on configurations required end to end.
2nd step : Next is your Help.sap page to check for missing configurations : App Implementation: My Inbox – SAP Fiori for Request Approvals 1.0 – SAP Library
Now if you still see this screen in your Fiori Launchpad :
Refer this configuration :
Which system ? Backend system 🙂
Go to SPRO -> SAP Netweaver -> Gateway Service Enablement-> Content -> Workflow settings -> Enable Task Filter.
Click on Deactivate : (Motive here is to get all items in SAP Fiori – My Inbox. If the task filter is enabled, only workflow tasks which are configured in “Maintain task name and decision options’ will show up in Fiori Inbox

Enable Task Filter
This activity allows you to activate or deactivate the task filter.
By default, the filter is deactivated.
When the task filter is set to Active:
- Sending Notifications: Only notifications of items that were configured using the Maintain Task Names and Decision Options IMG activity or the Workflow Pattern Customization IMG activity are sent.
- The SAP NetWeaver Gateway Workflow service only receives items that were configured using the Maintain Task Names and Decision Options IMG activity or the Workflow Pattern Customization IMG activity.

When the task filter is not set to active:
- All notifications are sent.
- All items are read.

Hi Tejas,
We have configured the standard My Inbox Fiori app. We have referred to the link App Implementation: My Inbox - SAP Fiori for Request Approvals 1.0 - SAP Library and done all the configuration steps mentioned here.
In spite of disabling the task filter as you have mentioned in this blog, we still see the count on the My Inbox tile as 0 (also the user has work items in the SAP Inbox in the backend system). There are no errors i the browser's developer console and the gateway error log.
Any pointers where else we can check to see why we do not get the correct item count?

You should be checking for mandatory notes or check troubleshooting steps . What is your IWPGW SP level.

We have applied the mandatory SAP Notes by referring to the note 2106212.
The IWPGW SP level is SP07.

Kindly execute the Service URL which you see in the tile configuration page. If it gives you the count, your system alias configurations are good. If the service gives error, check your system alias.

I see the tile count is still loading for you. Please check that first. Also share snapshot of system alias

I have an issue with count, i am getting a count of 1 for some users even if there is no work items in their inbox. if I add only 1 work item that time am getting count as 2 .
Please help us for getting out of this issue.
