ESEFA Student Education and Lecturer Qualification Forges Ahead

During the April to June 2015 period, a number of important ESEFA (ESEFA) training events occurred – in numerous African counties. The ESEFA programme is well and truly on track, thanks to our dedicated pilot partner universities in 10 African countries. 


In Quarter 2, the following training courses were conducted:

• Addis Ababa University – Train the Lecturer 20 – 24 April 2015

• University of Cape Town – Information Systems 4012 25 to 29 May

• University of Cape Town – Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting 8 – 12 June 2015

• PON / Namibia – short course April 2015 7 – 10 April 2015

• University of Ibadan, Nigeria – group 1 13 – 17 April 2015

• University of Ibadan, Nigeria – group 2 20 – 24 April 2015

• University of Botswana 19 – 22 May 2015

• University of Zambia –  Computer Science Group A 27 April – 01 June

• UNZA / Zambia – integrated course Computer Science Group B

• University of Zambia – Computer Science postgraduate 27 April – 29 May

• AUCC / Ghana – short course 01 June – 09 July

• University of Ibadan, Nigeria – group 3 15 June – 19 July

Up to now, more than 1100 student participated in ESEFA courses, sand more than 80 lecturers were qualified to teach the programme. Some hptose from the various regions below:
