Hi Folks,

This post is for reference who want to install BI 4.1 SP4 full build on Linux and have never seen similar installation.

Purpose of this post is to make ourselves aware of very simple i.e basic standalone installation with no add-ons, no custom database, no cluster etc.   

Prerequisites:

Working RHEL. Host file entries done for itself.

Important packages preinstalled according to install guide.

Follow PAM document  (supported platforms document) before installation.

Steps:

Quick Check: Created directory bi42sp4p1 which will be used as installation directory.
