As I am progressing in the development process for my application, I have done the following: drew out my basic designs for all interfaces. I have the new event interface done for the application. I have also have the basic layouts built in Xcode. Now I have reached an interesting point in the development process. In order to access the list of users, I need to make a request to the Outlook API. Some applications that are already developed have contacted the API, but for some reason I have been unable to do so. These applications include: Sync Calendar, Room Booker and even the ever popular Out Of Office application. I have been able to contact some of the owners of these applications, we have exchanged emails to discuss this issues and I have made small amounts progress. They are helpful and if they cannot help then they provide another person to help out with the situation. Right now my current contact is one of the owners of the Out Of Office application. I have been slowly developing this API but the good news is that I have a meeting with a Microsoft employee to discuss the issue. When I contacted him he told me that he was currently discussing the same thing with another person. On a side note with respect to the application. I have been considering whether or not I should use the camera to allow users to book rooms just like the room booker application. This would enable employees easier access to meeting organization. Let me know what you guys think of that idea!
