Hi Everyone,

This blog explains the most common issue while restoring SAP Logon Pad when we reinstall our SAP GUI.

When we copy the saplogon.ini (Path- C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common) file from backup, the issue we face here is unable to view the folders in  connections tab.

Before reinstallation we have folders like below,

After reinstall unable to view the folders,

We usually create folders and maintain connections again to restore.

We can follow the below procedure in order to avoid creation of folders again.

Before going to reinstall the SAP GUI make the backup of SAP folder present at C:\Users\hostname\AppData\Roaming

After reinstalling the SAP GUI just replace the SAP folder with the backup SAP folder.

So that we get the same folders in SAP GUI Logon pad.
