Often users want to see stock in demand planning process when they are forecasting for short term. This could be achieved by:
- By copying the data from order series to cube and then copy the same to time series. -> The draw back in this is that data will not be real time as stock could fluctuate depending upon transactions and when it has been copied.
- By /SAPAPO/LCOUT we can copy the category into time series key figure -> again this will not be real time as we need to schedule the job when users are not in planning area.
- By defining a macro which reads real time data for stock in time series key figure.
We need to define a macro with INTIAL_STOCK function. Define this as a default macro.
