ASUG Teams Up With HCP: Next Week’s Webinar on SAP’s IoT Development Platform

/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/rui_nogueira_737847.pngASUG and a couple of the HANA Cloud Platform product managers that you know and love have teamed up to bring you a free webinar next week on SAP’s HCP IoT Services called Accelerating IoT in Your Organization: Introducing SAP’s IoT Development Platform.  You really can’t get nearer to HCP’s IoT offering than to hear about it from Rui Nogueira and Aaron Williams themselves, which you can do next week if you sign up in time at

The webinar takes place next Thursday, July 9, at 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern/5p CET and even non-ASUG members can register.

The 8th in an 8-part series on IoT, this represents your last chance to partake of the business of IoT as hosted from ASUG this year.  Here’s a sneak peek at the agenda:

  • Brief intro to HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) as SAP’s PaaS for building and extending applications – Rui will take this part and this will be a good chance for both an introduction for those new to the HANA Cloud Platform as well as a refresher for those of you who work with it already.
  • HCP as SAP’s IoT development platform: Introducing IoT Services – Rui will then introduce SAP’s official foray into IoT application support, and if you’ve ever seen his IoT-related tutorials, this is your chance to hear from the purveyor of Rui’s Fish Import/Export on what IoT Services are all about.

Get up and running on the Trial platform: demo /  getting started – For the second half of the meeting, Aaron will take us into the live demo and prime you for actually getting started on the platform.  Aaron is the US HCP product manager based here in Palo Alto who focuses on IoT, and has also amassed a big volume of examples that you can use today at this link:

  • Where to go for more information / online resources – Finally, Aaron will be sure you’re not left in the dark and will make it clear where everyone can go to get started and get help.

Don’t miss out on this IoT-ASUG collaboration – save next Thursday and sign up today at:
