Welcome to our June round up of what’s new in SAP Learning Hub. Each month we will be advising you of the latest news, features and updates concerning SAP Learning Hub.  If you missed last month’s update, you can find it here

SAP Learning Hub News – May Update

Offline content consumption

On July 1, SAP Learning Hub will turn on mobile access for SAP Learning Hub and enable offline content consumption through SuccessFactors Mobile. Users can download and complete entire courses from their tablets when offline, and also access their learning plans, register for classes, and receive course assignments.

Initially SAP Learning Hub will support the offline option for all handbooksInitially only iPads (iOS 6.0 or higher) are supported but later in 2015 Android devices will also be supported. SuccessFactors Mobile App for iPad has been released and is available in the App Store free of charge. To connect the app with SAP Learning Hub, simply launch the app and enter the generated activation code under your user options for mobile within SAP Learning Hub.

We are working on making e-learning courses available offline too and will update subscribers about that as soon as we can.

SAP Live Access – new system available

The SAP Live Access environment is now available for the migration practice for the SAP Simple Finance solution – AC100, which is the first step in the road map for SAP S/4HANA. This is a great opportunity for learners to get hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA while testing their understanding and skills in migrating to SAP Simple Finance. New learning room – SAP Workforce Performance Builder

In this learning room we will provide you with news, highlights, and guidance about the award-winning authoring solution, SAP Workforce Performance Builder. Exchange and evolve your knowledge around new ways of learning.
Available for subscribers to the enterprise, customer, partner, and student editions.

New learning room – SAP for Utilities

This new learning room will help you gain a fundamental understanding of the SAP for Utilities industry solution, with an ultimate objective to apply this knowledge as a solution consultant in a team setting. Here you can ask SAP for Utilities related questions and complete relevant assignments to help you better understand this topic. Interact with online instructors from SAP and other learners. The room will also help you prepare to take the SAP Certified Application Associate – Utilities certification.
Available for subscribers to the enterprise, customer and partner editions.

Signing up to learning rooms

Learning rooms are the perfect starting point to your SAP Learning Hub subscription. With over 70 rooms available in a wide range of SAP solutions, there should be at least one to meet your needs. Within the room you can follow guided learning paths, ask questions of SAP experts, and collaborate with peers around the globe. More than 27,000 SAP Learning Hub subscribers are already members of a learning room, so why not sign up today? Once logged into SAP Learning Hub, simply go to Learning Content, Browse All Titles and then filter for Learning Rooms.

New openSAP course – Transformation to Hybrid Landscapes

While the cloud provides access to functionality for easy consumption, customers often want to keep dedicated systems on premise. SAP supports hybrid deployments, a combination of on-premise and cloud, to get the best of both worlds. In this course, you will get an overview of SAP’s cloud offerings and a deep dive into what hybrid means for integration, security, and operations. This course starts on July 2.

Enhanced content catalogue

As part of our Run Simple campaign, we have simplified the way you can access our content catalogue on SAP Learning Hub. We have added a new tab that allows you to easily search for content by edition, so whether you are looking to see what is in the business user edition, the student edition, or the enterprise edition, you can find what you need with one click of the button. This catalogue is available below and within SAP Learning Hub itself.
