Troubleshooting WebIntelligence in a Windows Server
The purpose of this cooperative document is to make a compilation of errors an it’s solution of both Rich
Client and Webi.
I would like to start it by sharing the location of the log files of Webi Rich Client and Desktop Intelligence.
When everything works fine, that’s it, you manage to start the application, the log stays at C:\Users\$YOU$\.businessobjects\logging, where $YOU$ stays for the user that logged into wondows.
When something wrong occurs and you don’t manage to star the application, the logs can be found at C:\Users\$YOU$\AppData\Local\Temp\.businessobjects.
The logs are in a .GLF file that happens to be a text file.
