Within next few days with the releases of new kernel patchlevels, there will be one fix from saposcol area delivered. Actually it is fix of asynchronous WS call where due to wrong string encoding expectations the response in shared memory of saposcol was considered as corrupted.
This is pretty rare case, if your tools are working fine, this is definitely no motivation for an kernel upgrade.
