Country-Specific Documentation Updates on SAP Help Portal
Hello,
We would like to announce three improvements to the SAP Help Portal that help you to find country-specific documentation:
A new way of publishing what’s new information
As of May, 2015, country-specific what’s new information (release notes) is published independently from international what’s new information. Gone are the days of navigating through releases and EHPs in search of country-specific information: just click your continent/region and country that you want!
This feature is currently available for SAP Customer Relationship Management and SAP ERP (including SAP ERP Add-Ons). You can either access it via http://help.sap.com/bscs – the central point of access for country-specific documentation in the SAP Business Suite -, or via http://help.sap.com/erp and http://help.sap.com/crm.
To provide you with more relevant data, we have also enhanced the content of what’s new information:
- The number of the SAP Note with which a feature has been delivered help you see the connection between what’s new information and the implementation instructions in SAP Notes.
- Sections that contain the changes that have been made to the area menu, the IMG and the UI help you know what will look different after you have the functionality in your system.
New products added to the Business Suite Country-Specifics documentation page
We have recently listed two more products at the http://help.sap.com/bscs page:
- SAP Simple Finance, On-Premise Edition (direct link: http://help.sap.com/bscssfin)
- Industries in SAP ERP (direct link: http://help.sap.com/bscsindustries)
This page lists country-specific documentation for the following industry solutions in SAP ERP: SAP for Automotive, SAP Healthcare, Student Lifecycle Management, SAP for Insurance, SAP for Oil & Gas, SAP Utilities, and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
Before, you had to navigate through the pages of your product until you found country-specific documentation. Now, with these pages under the Business Suite Country-Specifics, you can find the documentation relevant to your country with just a few clicks.
New points of access to business function documentation
You can now access documentation for country-specific business functions at the http://help.sap.com/bscs page. Links to country-specific business functions are added to the country-specifics for SAP ERP page and the country-specifics for CRM page.
Note that the country specific business functions for SAP ERP are categorized by areas, Accounting and HCM. If you are an HCM customer who would like to find information about a new business function for Spain, you simply need to open our country-specifics for SAP ERP page, then with one click, you find what you need.
We invite all of you to visit http://help.sap.com/bscs and findout what country-specific information we have prepared for you. Note that you can use the Feedback button of each page to provide feedback about documentation.
Best regards,
Alice Otero
