SAP HANA Multitenant (MDC) videos now available on the SAP HANA Academy

Introduction

We have just completed a series of video tutorials for the SAP HANA Academy that cover a wide range of topics related to Multitenant Database Containers (MDC).

The MDC feature was introduced with SAP HANA SPS09. This feature enables hosting multiple SAP HANA databases on a single SAP HANA system. All tenant databases in the same system share the same system resources (memory and CPU cores) but each tenant database is fully isolated with its own database users, catalog, repository, persistence (data files and log files) and services so that, for example, you can run both SAP Business Suite and SAP Business Warehouse (BW) in one SAP HANA system.
