SAP Inside Track Washington DC is coming June 26 and on behalf of John Astill I am excited to announce the full agenda. This is a one day event starting at 9:00 am and ending at 3:45 pm. A few tickets are still available
With the event less than 2 weeks away, we wanted to share the agenda and speakers.
SAP’s Germaine Schumann is the keynote speaker discussing how SAP Runs SAP. She is the SAP SVP of Global Customer Office Tools, creating the tools that the SAP sales force use to run their day to day tasks.
S/4 HANA is a hot topic and SAP’s Dirk Pluschke “will cover SAP’s newest ERP solution architected solely for SAP HANA”. I met Dirk a few hears ago at at a SAP HANA Codejam. At the same time, Rakesh Gandhi will present a popular product “SAP Cloud for Customer – Sales, Service and Industry”.
After lunch, SAP’s Lauren Pluschke covers another hot topic “UX and Design for the Enterprise”, covering the difference between UX and UI, what is a Fiori application, covering how these concepts apply to Apple Watch applications. At the same time Candice Schumann covers a popular topic “Internet of Things in the Home” with a “demo of an insurance based solution for home telemetrics using SAP HANA, UI5 and a physical demonstration kit.”. I wish I could attend both of these sessions myself but sadly they are at the same time.
Traveling all the way from California is Njål Stabell ending the presentations with “HCPms with a UI5 Neptune App” with a “live demo of creating an SAPUI5 Hybrid app using Neptune and connecting it to the HCP Mobile Services using the REST API’s and Neptune Application Management”
For those who want to stay after, John Astill (assisted by Candice and Lauren) will have a hands-on IoT session where you will “build an electronic sensor circuit that communicates with the SAP HANA Cloud Platform, including hands on examples with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, light and temperature sensors.”. Wow.
