SAP LVM 2.1 SP03 Released to Customers as of May 2015

Keeping up with our commitment on delivering continuous improvements to our customers, we are happy to announce the availability of SAP LVM 2.1 Support Package 03. This update is packed with a variety of new features especially in the SAP HANA operations area as well as landscape management and extensibility areas.

What’s new with SAP LVM 2.1 SP03?

SAP HANA Management and Operations

+ Relocate for SAP HANA multi-node and replicated systems.

+ Provisioning for SAP HANA multi-node systems (clone/copy/rename/refresh). This functionality is available for standalone SAP HANA systems as well as ABAP on SAP HANA system.

+ Configuring the primary and secondary system for system replication operations.

+ Provisioning support for multiple virtual interfaces.

+ Configuring High Availability and Disaster Recovery settings for SAP HANA.

+ Performing a take-over and failback for SAP HANA systems.

Landscape Management

+ Setting authorization permissions for operations and content as well as refined standard permissions.

+ Refined operations for custom hooks. Defining and executing system wide custom hooks.

+ Dynamic captions for custom hooks and custom operations.

+ Enhancements in installation/un-installation of Diagnostic Agents for SAP Solution Manager.

+ Enhancements in rolling kernel switch (RKS) procedure. You can now perform RKS centrally for all the kernels using LVM.
