SuccessFactors Q2 2015 Release Highlights

I can’t believe that we have already delivered our second release in 2015. Time is running very fast.

And again, we delivered a lot of great enhancements across the SuccessFactors® HCM Suite. For example, a small mobile capability I really like. Recruiters now can send interview confirmations as well as reminders via text messaging to their candidates.  With over 90% of people texting at least once a day worldwide, this is a sure winner for those customers who need to catch attention of today’s millennials quickly.

In addition a new user experience for the “People Profile” dashboard is available. This is optimized for Web browsers on multiple devices. The navigation is enhanced, which reduces the effort for users to complete updates on their personal information such as address, background or experience and education changes.

Now, if you are out of the office and you need to maintain your time sheet you can authorize your manager or a colleague to edit the time sheet on your behalf. This ensures that all your times are recorded punctually.

Do you need to create different work schedules for different employee groups e.g. part time employees? With this release you now can create custom work schedules for employees.

As with every release in the past we increased the number of countries in our Employee Central Payroll solution. Now, with Saudi Arabia and Columbia we have a total number of 30 countries supported by our payroll solution.

Let’s move on to our enhancements in our Talent Management solutions.

If you want to create tailored views of positions on live slides, you can easily do so with our “Presentations” feature.

As we listen to our customers we added new mobile enhancements in our learning solution: Learners can now browse the learning catalog and, in addition they can view their learning history on their ipad.

Within SAP Jam policies and training documents are kept up-to-date as they are synched and always available on a local computer for offline access with the desktop file sync client.

You need to get more information and insights on your recruiting data. You want to know which recruiting source is the most effective one? With this release you can easily access such information through variety of insights and charts like source trending reports as well as full mobile reporting.

With new SuccessFactors Mobile capabilities your administrators can now prevent employees from activating and running SuccessFactors mobile on non-managed devices (available for iOS).

And finally, with our second release in 2015 we delivered new functionality in add-ons for our SuccessFactors HCM Suite. Just to mention a few examples:

• Integration of SuccessFactors Onboarding with SAP
• Additional Replication Capabilities from SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP ERP, e.g. replication of job relationships
• Integration of SAP Identity Management with SuccessFactors Employee Central
