SAP Ireland are pleased to launch the Cooperative Learning Program for Irish students.

This is a dual study program, which allows students to simultaneously combine academic studies & industry experience at SAP.

One strand caters for students taking German for the Leaving Certificate, who have an interest in working in technology, to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Informatics in Germany and get PAID while they study!

The other strand focuses on students currently enrolled in a Bachelor program at Dublin City University (DCU) or the National University of Galway (NUIG), with 4 semesters of a B.Sc. in Computer Science or Business Information Systems completed by June 2015 to join SAP and get paid while they study!

Benefits and requirements

Students will have access to SAP mentors, who can provide guidance concerning career choices, as well as innovative on-the-job-learning in a highly stimulating, international environment.

On average, 80% of graduates secure employment even before they finish their studies; many are employed at SAP while others take up demanding roles within the SAP ecosystem. Graduates of the program typically find careers in the areas of Software Development, Service & Support, Product Management and Consulting.

Students in Germany will receive a monthly study stipend of €950 in year one, €1115 in year two and €1275 in year three. Students will have the opportunity to spend one practical phase of 3 months at another SAP location. College fees will be covered by the German state.

While the first year will be taught 100% in English, the second and third year are taught through German, so students applying are required to achieve a minimum B2 (Hons) result in Leaving Certificate German to be eligible.

Students in Ireland will receive a monthly stipend of @ €500 and @ €1,500 per month for 2 Internships (3 & 6 months)

Recognized certification in SAP Technologies, soft skills training, 1:1 mentoring and management.

In addition, the students will have access to a high-quality SAP laptop and services for 2 years and will be fast-tracked for SAP global hiring upon graduation.

Students with an aptitude for IT and an interest in programming will have an advantage, and should be able to show initiative and willingness to learn. Relevant extracurricular activities are also desirable.
