Learn about the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)’s partnership with SAP to help transform cancer patient care. ASCO’s CancerLinQ platform built on SAP HANA is expected to unlock real-world patient care data from millions of electronic health records and more securely process and analyze the data to provide immediate high-quality feedback and clinical decision support to providers.

See a demo given by the National Centre for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg, Germany during Hasso Plattner’s – co-founder and chairman of SAP’s supervisory board – keynote. NCT is using SAP’s Medical Research Insights solution to support the organization in providing personalized treatment to cancer patients.

Also announced at SAPPHIRE NOW were the winners of the 2015 SAP HANA Innovation Award. Molecular Health, a German biotech company won this award in the Technology Trailblazer category for its TreatmentMAP technology.

The solution uses SAP HANA to transform complex and large data sets on individualized genetic information from a cancer patient using all published biomedical knowledge to identify the treatment options that are most promising to deliver favorable outcomes.
