Firefox 38 (Rapid Release Cycle) is released on May, 19th as a base for the next ESR release.

According to the release notes the browser now has support for a reading list, a feature also offered by Apple’s Safari for some time already and which will also be part of Microsoft’s upcoming browser codenamed Spartan / Edge.

Firefox 38 also introduces a new preferences menu which is now based on tabs. The new version also comes with a new option to share tabs and windows through Mozilla’s video chat service Hello.

Mozilla Firefox 37 RRC has been successfully tested with NetWeaver versions 7.40 SP11, 7.31 SP16, 7.30 SP13, 7.01 SP16, 7.02 SP17 on operating systems Win 7 64-bit,  Win 7 32-bit,  Win 8 64-bit (desktop), Win 8 32-bit (desktop), Win 8.1 64-bit, Mac and Linux in the areas of NW – PLS, WD ABAP, WD JAVA, NWBC, ACF, BI, UI5, FPM , Web CUIF, EP, Adobe, BPM; Fiori – FLP on ABAP.
