During a signing ceremony at the ASUG Hub, Brian Reaves, Senior Vice President & Global Head, d.Studio, Products & Innovation, shared that a new initiative, “Project Propel Empowered by SAP,” will enable Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to empower their students with knowledge of the latest SAP technologies, better preparing them with critical skills in demand in the SAP ecosystem. Margo Jadzak, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing, ASUG shared that ASUG looks forward to connecting their community to early talent at HBCUs skilled in S/4HANA, analytics, Big Data and the Internet of Things, the business network, and User Experience. Donna Covington, Dean of the College of Business at Delaware State University shared that DSU is excited to be the HBCU Center of Excellence for this initiative. And Ronita Sanders, representing Congresswoman Corrine Brown of the Congressional Black Caucus, praised SAP’s initiative to build and attract a diverse workforce among students from HBCUs.
