Scenes from ASUG Annual Conference – The Day Before Day 0

Today while waiting to register, I walked around and noticed some of the signs on the second an third floor, where most of the ASUG Annual Conference sessions are taking place.

Above is the banner view from the third floor of the conference.

This is the closest I could get to the show floor.  Please note it is already warm and humid here.

The above is from the 3rd floor of the Convention Center, featuring ASUG at SAP TechEd – did you know ASUG has call for proposals for SAP TechEd?  Friendly reminder – call closes May 24th Don’t Delay – Submit your ASUG SAP TechEd Abstract Today

ASUG also has call for speakers for the SAP Analytics BusinessObjects Conference in Austin, Texas.  See Call for Speakers: Abstracts Being Accepted for ASUG SAP Analytics BusinessObjects Conference

On the third floor this year ASUG will have a “mini-hub” and a charging station.

May 5th at 4:30 pm is the ASUG Keynote, featuring ASUG CEO Geoff Scott and Emmy-Award winning Michael Strahan.  He is hosts Kelly and Michael (for which he won the Emmy recently) and also is on NFL on Fox.  It’s amazing to me he finds time to attend the conference.  “Not to be missed” as Mark Finnern would always say.

On the second floor visit the SAP Press booth with discounts (can you leave the conference without a book from them?  I can’t).  SAP Press also sponsors several Inside Tracks.

Next to SAP Press on the second floor is the SAP Insider Booth.  I hope to see Jon Kent there.  He is super friendly.  While we were waiting to register I was speaking to another attendee about how much we like attending the SAP Insider Events.

There is a car on the second floor next to the elevators – I haven’t figured out what this is all about…yet

Tomorrow is all about ASUG Pre-conference sessions – here’s a sneak preview of one of the rooms:

It looks to be a busy week.  What are you hoping to learn more about – IoT, S/4HANA, your existing solutions, or ?
