SAP HANA in Rio de Janeiro

SAP HANA in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil summarizes the enthusiasm of young creative minds in all Latin America of embracing innovative technologies.   Silicon Valley might be experiencing a new dotcom but without doubt the boundaries to innovate extend beyond the bay area.  Emerging cloud development platforms such as HANA opens doors to universities, consultants and independent developers around the world to ride the new wave of innovation and entrepreneurship as if they were in Silicon Valley.  Clear case are the participants in Rio de Janeiro learning SAP HANA

Late hours in the evening during a weekday with the good crowd of young professionals ready to learn SAP HANA.  Hosted by Instituto Infnet, almost 10pm on a Wednesday with 43 participants creating their first app on SAP HANA.  Teachers, students, ABAP/functional consultants and system administrators all embraced the new generation of in-memory technology.

This is my second event in Brazil and while there is much to say about the beauty of the country I believe not enough is say of how friendly everyone is here and the relentless motivation to be in-touch with innovation.  Personally a wonderful experience in Rio de Janeiro and great event for SAP HANA adoption. Special thank you to Emiliano Castor from Infnet and Victor Farias from SAP University Alliances.
