Gamification Invades SAP HANA Cloud Platform at SAPPHIRE NOW

/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/gaming_695945.jpgEven though “engagement” has become the buzzword du jour these days, it’s completely warranted. Whether attempting to make content more appealing and effective or trying to create a more involved and passionate workforce, an engagement boost is typically needed. Gamification is certainly no stranger to being lumped into the buzzword category but there’s compelling proof to suggest it pushes all the right engagement buttons if deployed properly.

SAPPHIRE NOW attendees with engagement on their minds will have the opportunity to invade the Platform and Technology Campus (HANA Cloud Demo Station, Pod 1) to learn how gamification can help their businesses run simple with the SAP HCP Gamification Service.

According to Dr. Michael Ameling, Development Manager, IoT & Gamification Services at SAP, the HCP Gamification Service is designed to “intrinsically motivate” people to become active users and contributors of their organizations.

“SAP’s Gamification Service allows organizations to easily introduce gamification mechanics into applications meeting enterprise requirements,” said Ameling. “With pre-defined content and SDK’s for rapid integration, it’s a low-cost cloud-based operation that can be implemented quickly.”

Are you ready to get your game on? Keep an eye out for SAP’s Nikhil Dhairyawan at HANA Cloud Demo Station Pod 1 who will walk SAPPHIRE NOW attendees through various gamification integration scenarios.

Couldn't agree more Janaki Kumar. It will be interesting to see what the general consensus is post SAPPHIRE.
