On 24th April, one group of students from German class of Shanghai Caoyang No.2 High School visited SAP Labs China in the afternoon. This is the first time they go to company for learning, similarly, it was the first time UA received high school students at Shanghai office.
Background
Since UA organized Young Thinkers’ Day for primary school students at Labs China office, more and more colleagues get to know this idea, recently, colleague from P&I Analytics contacted UA for a new request from Shanghai Caoyang No.2 High School, which is a top-ranked high school in Shanghai, one class of top selected students who will continue their bachelor degree in Germany after graduation hope to visit a German company this time. So UA decided to schedule a visiting plan for those students.
Since they are very young, so all the sessions were very relaxing and easy to be understood, Benny from UA introduced SAP to the students and used a cartoon story to explain what is ERP software, and we invited Jason Yang, Product Manager of P&I Analytics to show several demos to illustrate what is data visualization, and that’s the job Jason working on everyday in SAP. Beyond our expectations, the students prepared a lot of questions than our previous visiting university students, the teacher expressed their gratitude to SAP, it was a very successful start for their class project to the German companies. After Q&A, they visited our working environment and got to know more about our corporate culture with Josie.
