Employee Central Side by Side Deployment – SapphireNOW presentation

Many companies are moving to cloud-based human capital management (HCM) systems to take advantage of the inherent advantages such as more flexibility, seamless updates, and global access.  But many organizations are satisfied with their reliable existing systems and simply want to enhance their capabilities through cloud computing.

By now, you may have already heard about two deployment models that have been around for a while : Talent Hybrid and Full Cloud.   SuccessFactors, an SAP company, has a third option designed to deliver the best of both cloud and traditional HCM through a side-by-side deployment of Employee Central.  The Side-by-Side HCM deployment model is for customers who want to adopt SuccessFactors Employee Central as the cloud-based Core HR system for a subset of employees while retaining SAP ERP HCM as the Core HR system for another subset of employees. 

We launched this in the second half of last year and originally posted this video to give folks a little teaser to get them started.  I remember sitting on the steps at the Orlando Convention Center and discussing the launch of this deployment model with my colleagues, Wolfgang Dittrich and Bianca Woelke.  These two were so passionate about this new deployment model and told me that at the next SapphireNOW they hoped to have a customer share their story on how Employee Central side-by-side deployment is working for them.  A little less than a year has passed and I am so delighted to share with you all that we have that story to share!
