Congratulations, New SAP Mentors, Spring 2015

SAP Mentors are industry influencers who have some affiliation with SAP, either as a customer, partner, employee or other relationship that gives them a lot of knowledge and usually a strong opinion about SAP and related topics. A typical SAP Mentor will have most of the following attributes:

Mentors.png

– Influences the SAP ecosystem and market place

– Leads and mentors others

– Has an altruistic reputation

– Brings SAP community to local events

– Is active in SAP community

– Nurtures important relationships outside of SAP

This year, we are piloting an SAP Mentor Steering Committee to help transform the program, providing transparency into its incredible value. So far, the steering committee has been running as a pilot to elect the new Spring 2015  mentors, plan mentor activities for SAPPHIRE NOW 2015, and help determine next steps for the transformation program. The steering committee consists of Malin Liden, Martin Gillet, Phil Loewen, Tom Cenens, Maria Farrales, Elena Sents and me. More information will be forthcoming on the transformation  after SAPPHIRE NOW.

The steering committee considered the many nominees for mentorship, using the attributes listed above. There was a great lineup and we thank everyone for their applications. Based on these attributes, 20 new members are being inducted into the program this spring, bringing the total number of mentors to 152. On behalf of the committee, it’s my pleasure to announce the newest members of the program. Join us in welcoming these new SAP Mentors!
