Chrome 42 Tests on NetWeaver are Completed

The Chrome 42 release includes several new developer features, such as push notifications, app install banners and more. For further information check the following link:

Please note that as of Chrome version 42, NPAPI is disabled by default and must be re-enabled explicitly. Google intends to remove support entirely in version 45, due later in 2015.

 

SAP NetWeaver Test Center has been testing Chrome 42 on desktop in combinations with NetWeaver versions 7.02, 7.30, 7.31 and 7.40.

      We noticed that the html SAP GUI fails to download to local file as it uses a small piece of Java to access the local file system. Users can still email report output to themselves as a workaround if using Chrome v42 or later. Alternatively use any other browser.
