Hello every one,

This blog briefly explain the differences  and similarities between standard (formerly classic) and embedded (formerly unified) models.

Standard version which for the people who are already using BPC 10.0 version

Consolidation central is available in Standard model where as its not available in embedded version

Embedded is fully integrated with integrated planning( this is deeply integrated with SAP BW)

For embedded version SAP HANA is mandatory where as for embedded and standard models is an optional(not mandatory)

Theses are some key similarities and differences between those two…

From SAP BPC for NW roadmap:

    > Planned innovations – Extend existing consolidation functionality to support both the standard and embedded model

Is there any information – when in BPC embedded will be included consolidation functionality?

We were on BPC 10.0 NW.   FIM access was a link in the Library when we opened BPC.  Where is the FIM access in BPC 10.1 NW?  I think we are running Classic.
