May the 4th Be With You – SAP BusinessObjects Analysis Office 2.0 is Generally Available

Looking at Venkata Subhash Babu M post from yesterday Whats New In Analysis Office 2.0 he covers the high points and new features.

I always seem to make the same mistake when going to download the software – I go to the “Installations and Upgrades” – don’t do that!  Go to the Support Packages and Patches.

When you go here, go under “A” for Analysis Office

Select SP02, the latest patch.  Updates are covered in SAP Note 2091746 http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2091746

So don’t do as I do, do as I say and download from the patch side of Service Marketplace.

I like the new property view  on the Display panel:

The new table design features were a high request by the ASUG Analysis Influence Council, lead by Joyce Butler and Alexander Peter.  Speaking of Alex, please join Alex for his session at ASUG Annual Conference:

BI70 Analysis Office EPM Convergence

Speaking of ASUG Annual Conference, and May 4th, spaces are filling up for ASUG Pre Conference 2015 for SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1 with SAP NetWeaver BW Powered by SAP HANA – Deep Dive – only a few spaces are left.  This is a full-day hands-on session with Analysis Office 1.4, Lumira and Design Studio.  This pre-conference will be held May 4th in Orlando.

I have been attending ASUG pre-conference sessions in 2007, and it is a great way to start your conference with an in-depth day of education and networking.
