User closing Browser Tab(X) instead of logoff in portal

Hi All,

I have opened multiple tabs (Gmail, SDN etc) in browser. I opened  another tab for

Portal and login. Thereafter, i close this particular tab (X). If i try to reopen

the portal in other tab in the same browser, i am straightaway authenticated into the portal without asking credentials.

portal version : EP 7.0 sp24

Pls help me to resolve.

      Hi Anand,

      This is because the session cookie is still active in the browser which is either killed by logging off properly or closing the complete browser (all the tabs). You might need to create a custom program which kills the session cookie once the Portal is closed by the browser.

      As a workaround, you can disable the tabbed browsing.
