SAP HANA simplifies IT landscapes by reducing the amount of data in  applications, which reduces the need for hardware. SAP HANA can simplify technology for our customers and drive simpler business models for them. We  will simplify our solutions by moving all of our applications and analytics to the SAP HANA platform.  Further, we simplify how customers consume our solutions, by bringing them  into the SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA. By offering a better user experience and faster consumption, the cloud model radically simplifies business processes.

We will focus on three key initiatives to deliver on our commitment  to RUN SIMPLE:

  • Simplify how customers consume our products. Our entire product portfolio – solutions that are specific to 25 industries and 12 lines of business is being delivered through the cloud with SAP HANA.

  • Simplify our customers’ business processes.   At the foundation of our innovation and strategy is SAP HANA. With SAP HANA as the common platform, we help our customers dramatically accelerate the speed of their business by radically simplifying their IT stack and enabling simpler and smarter business processes.  SAP HANA uses one platform for applications and analytics solutions, offering a truly integrated closed-loop experience from insight to action.

  • Simplify the user experience. With the SAP Fiori user experience, we are redesigning complex workflows by offering customizable, role-based experiences on any device with a greatly  reduced number of clicks. Which means our business users will have a consistent, consumer-grade experience on any device and will be able to access  all the relevant functions (HR approvals, sales forecast, travel and expense, etc.)  without switching between applications

In summary, SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA can address all three dimensions of complexity – Management, Business Process, and Technology
