SAP CodeJam events in Moscow (SAP HANA Cloud Platform)

Last week, I and Alexander Silgidjian had the chance to visit Moscow for series of three CodeJam events SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts Maria Oseeva and Yury Kupriyanov, and the typical Russian cold spring.

The events took place on March 31, April 1 (not a joke) and April 2.

The audience for the first event was predominantly students, eager to learn new technologies. For the second event we had mainly representatives from startup companies looking forward to learning the SAP HANA and Cloud capabilities and how they can be used into their projects. The last event was attended by ABAP developers, interested in the newest SAP technologies and how they can be used with the existing ERP systems.

For the last event, we were honored to have the opening words from Dmitrij Armjakov, Managing Director at SAP Labs C.I.S.

Our guests learnt how to build, deploy and start their first application on the cloud, using Java EE, HANA and SAPUI5.

We also enjoyed the traditional Russian pirogi and sweets:

The feedback from the participants was highly positive (the marks are based on the 5-grade system). We gathered and analyzed the feedback using the Feedback Service.
