Activating sales and distribution simplification and NWBC
Since EHP4 there is a business function called: Simplified Sales Processes in Sales and Distribution 02
Simplified Sales Processes in Sales and Distribution 02 – Logistics – SAP Library
When you are on EHP4 or higher, and NWBC is not in use, this is the steps to take to enable this.
Step 1: Activate NWBC

1a: Implement required notes
Implement note 1353538 http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1353538 and all the depending notes (this can be quite a list of notes, can take some time).
1b (optional but advisable) upgrade rendering engine

1c activate services
Go to transaction SICF
In SICF go to SAP > BC and find the NWBC tree. Activate the complete tree.
1d test
Go to transaction NWBC. A launch page should now open.
Step 2: Activate business content
2a: Activate business functions
Go to transaction SFW5 – in the pop-up, click continue
Open the Enterprise_Business_Functions folder
In the ‘Planned status’ column, flag the box for /KYK/GEN_AIO_SIMPLIFICATION and SD_01and LOG_SD_SIMP_02 and LOG_SD_CI_01.
You can consider to also flag OPS_SME_SIMP_01
After selecting, click on activate changes.
Step 2b: Test
The activation of the business packages can take some time to complete.
After this is complete, you should have the required content. When you now go to PFCG, and search for role name SAP*AIO* and SAP*BPR* you should have some new roles.
Step 2c: Add role
Go to transaction SU01, enter your own user name and go to roles.
Add role SAP_BPR_INT_SALES_REP_14 to your user.
Step 2d: Test Role and business content.
Go to transaction NWBC
Internet Explorer now opens with an overview of all your roles.
Select role SAP_BPR_INT_SALES_REP_14 from the list.
The cockpit for this role will now be shown.
You will now have a cockpit with the WebDynpro transactions to create and change sales documents and you will have quite some powerlists showing all kind of business information (e.g. picking status, overdue orders, contract status, orders blocked for credit reasons, incomplete sales orders, and many more).
