About SAP packaging of PowerDesigner / PowerAMC and SAP Store

It seems we can’t acquire a license of PowerDesigner Enterprise Architect (PowerAMC Architecture d’Entreprise) with a Standalone license – User

What should we do if we wish to work with our own tool as consulting people?

Actually I have to work on my clients sites with their licenses.

On the other hand, SAP vendors and partners say it’s :

1. very complicated to understand that there is a French and an English version of the SAP modeling product PowerDesigner / PowerAMC.
2. very difficult to understand the subtlety in titles : PowerDesigner enterprise edition vs PowerDesigner Enterprise Architect. You must be a specialist (Leaderboard) to understand. The SAP rep. do not understand. The difference between the titles of these two editions is far too subtle.

As you know the SAP company is much greater of Sybase and it seems that it’s not in their habits to have a product with two designations. Do you think have in the future only one product (name) where we can select the work language of the product? In SP05 SAP has introduced many languages for the Portal.

Why SAP does not display the product numbers to facilitate trade over the Web and brochure (Authorized Reseller Product List)… Yes I know Excel sheet….

Why we do not find a list of all editions in the sap store?

What can we do if we want acquire a standalone license of PowerAMC Architecture d’Entreprise ?

When we search for PowerDesigner term – The following product PowerAMC is displayed…but not all others editions of PowerAMC

Maybe SAP should displayed all PowerAMC AND PowerDesigner editions when we search for PowerDesigner and do the same thing when we search for PowerAMC ? Or displayed only products related to the search term wrote by the client.

New : On February 2015 SAP withdrew PowerAMC / PowerDesigner products in the list of products we can acquire via the SAP Store. The only product/service displayed when we enter PowerDesigner term are SAFYR and Dobler Consulting Service Offer

this is the English version of PowerAMC Architecture d’entreprise.

and as for the SAP store not all PowerAMC editions are displayed over the cdw.ca Web site.

Finally We can,…but We can’t…

In fact what SAP Marketing wants to do with PowerDesigner/PowerAMC? Is this going to become a domestic product for SAP consulting branch?

This will become far too difficult for customers to find information to acquire the product.

I think there’s a serious push to give.
