Re-Platforming – The Basis for Fast Innovations

Add this one-hour workshop session to your agenda which takes place right after demo theater session #20425 (Title: Enrich Innovation by Fast-Tracking Your Move to a New Platform) to gain a better understanding how to best leverage SAP HANA platform and the SAP S/4 HANA. The SAP HANA platform and the SAP S/4HANA innovations are key enablers for agility in implementing new business models – the foundation for building competitive advantage. In this workshop, learn how re-platforming will help you reshape your business and get you up to speed on your business innovation journey. The session presents the SAP Re-Platforming approach, a methodology to transition to the new platform starting with differentiating innovations. Based on a jointly developed roadmap reflecting your business requirements and opportunities the transformation is executed in a factory approach.

The workshop explains in depth the overall concept and benefits of re-platforming, and how SAP can assist you creating and executing the customized innovation plan.  Two scenarios will be discussed in detail: The simple case of migrating a single suite system only to SAP S/4HANA (pre-packaged, pre-defined, fast), and the complex case of analyzing and improving a large business solution.
