New shipment of SAP Simple Finance generally available by March 31st, 2015

SAP Simple Finance powered by SAP HANA will be generally available on March 31st, 2015. This set of solutions comprising the products SAP Accounting, SAP Cash Management and SAP Integrated Business Planning for Finance marks the first step towards SAP S/4HANA roadmap. SAP Simple Finance delivers the value of architecture simplification, single source of truth, flexibility and instant insight in Finance.

With the new shipment, customers are empowered to start into a new area of accounting and financial closing. Having unified FI and CO into the Universal ournal, all business processes can now access one ultimate single source of truth. Itfurther enables removal of reconciliation efforts and acceleration of the
financial close. In addition, customers are now able to centralize finance reporting and processes in a distributed system landscape by using the Central Finance deployment option. It comes with further innovations in the areas of Treasury and Financial Risk Management, Collaborative Finance Operations, and
Integrated Business Planning. Since SAP Simple Finance is natively designed with the simple and role-based SAP Fiori user experience, customers can adopt
these innovations with minimal training efforts. SAP Simple Finance is available in all industries and country versions and is offered in the Cloud as well as for on-premise deployment.
