I am pleased to introduce ASUG Annual Conference speaker Greg Sprowles
Greg’s session is BI624 “Customizing Design Studio Applications & Dashboards for BW on HANA at Kindred Healthcare“
Greg answers the following questions:
Q: What is your position and where do you work?
A: Greg (pictured to the right) is serving as Director of Financial Systems/Data Warehouse development at Kindred Healthcare. His primary role is to guide the business intelligence development and overall architecture using SAP BW on HANA and Business Objects. He has worked in BW development for over 13 years in various functional areas.
Q: What is the title of your session and when is it?
A: Customizing Design Studio Applications & Dashboards for BW on HANA at Kindred Healthcare – Wednesday May 6, 2:30pm
Q: Why should people come to your session? What do you hope attendees will take away from your session?
A: The transition to Business Objects Design Studio from BW BEx tools has been difficult for many SAP BW customers. As a BW customer, Greg is presenting an overview on some of those challenges along with benefits from using Design Studio. Users should attend this session if they want to:
1. Develop a consistent look and feel for their enterprise dashboards as a replacement for BEx web applications.
2. Maximize performance of dashboards that use BW queries as the data source
3. Simplify the user experience and provide useful features for end users.
Please add Greg’s session to your agenda. I’ve seen a sneak preview of his slides and you will learn from his session.
