It was a sunny and particularly warm March day in Pleasanton, with varieties of terrain and a superior view of Mount Diablo, none of us could complain about spending our afternoon at the Callippe Preserve Golf Club. Eleven golfers from three different SAP campuses participated in the inaugural SAP Silicon Valley Golf Club tournament.

The golf was spirited, with a wide range of scores. Dean Sivara led the way with a score of 79. We held two “closest to the hole” competitions, which are exact

ly as one would expect - contests to see who can drive the ball nearest to the hole in a single shot.Margaret Murgallis was closest to the pin on number hole #13 and for this, she won a signed Sharks jersey. She was thrilled, as she is a huge fan of the San Jose Sharks! The second closest to the pin contest winner was yours truly (Whitney Dragstrem), winning a dozen golf balls.

After a long day golfing with beautiful views we closed out the event with Happy Hour in the clubhouse. Stories and laughter about both good and bad shots on the challenging course were shared. It was an enjoyable experience for all, and we looking forward to the next SAP Silicon Valley Golf event on April 16th at the Sunnyvale Golf Club.
