ERP Consultancy (SAP Certification) – Transformation from Introduction Phase to Mature Phase (Part – 2)

Mature Phase of ERP Consultancy.

Through transformation phase to move vertically upward towards this phase it is important for an ERP consultant to understand the difference between knowledge and intelligence and also the difference between depth of intelligence and direction of intelligence.

  • There is a difference between knowledge and intelligence.

Learning any subject or law or act or system one can know the contents which can also be termed as bookish knowledge but live experience of actual applicability of each section, segment or part, extent and density, combination etc. can not be learn or gained reading books or by attaining any course. There is no such institution in the world other than one own life where intelligence can be taught.

  • Furthermore there is a difference between depth of intelligence and direction of intelligence.

Even intelligence requires a correct direction in which it is to be employed. At enterprise level even intelligence needs to be multiplied and manifolded. In other word only intelligence without having support of leadership quality, team work etc. it can not be used creativity or constructively.

So far as ERP consultancy is concern it is a profession of directing intelligence and not just  depth of intelligence or knowledge.

Characteristics of a Successful ERP Consultant are listed below.

  • Passion for excellence
  • Ability to develop a Team
  • Mastery in communication
  • High energy and efficiency level
  • Quick and value base decision taking capability
  • Ability to find new methods
  • Path breaking or path finding capabilities
  • Self confidence

Definition of each of the above points differ from person to person and time to time, therefore it is only “situation and time” who can elaborate each point in detail for each of us.

May GOD bless all of Us to reach pinnacle.
