CVERS, Release Status of Software Component

Have you ever wonder how to retrieve the release status of all software components in your SAP ERP? One option that most people know is going through the Enviroment SAP Menu > Status. Then, branching out through the current software component you are in wil take you to the whole list.

However, if you want to have a direct access to all, and also be able to download to excel for analysis on a release update, for example, you can always check CVERS table.

I learnt this trick while working on an update project for my current job. It was very helpful on the task to review SAP Notes and how they were or not usable for our ERP’s version.
