Free openSAP course on Internet of Things, starting March 25
The Internet of Things – it seems to be all people talk about these days. The connection of all devices to the internet so that interactions are faster and simpler, from boiling a kettle to paying for your parking with your smartphone, the possibilities are endless.
SAP is helping its customers to advance technology further through smart software for the Internet of Things. SAP is continuing to develop further possibilities with our customers with many exciting developments for consumers.
The big question is how will this affect society and business? Henning Kagermann, president of acatech, the National Academy of Science and Engineering, has been deeply involved in the German government initiative to computerize manufacturing and has joined with openSAP to deliver a free course to discuss the key trends, smart services, and the effects, challenges, and opportunities for society.
To take a look at the impact on business, Bernd Leukert, member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, Products & Innovation, discusses smart software, enabling technologies, and the challenges and opportunities for business. Bernd Leukert has global responsibility for development and delivery of all products across SAP’s product portfolio including applications, analytics, cloud, database and technology, and mobile. Leukert is also responsible for leading the design and end-user experience for SAP.
The course opens March 25 and is just 2-3 hours in duration with the option to complete a course assignment and earn a Record of Achievement. As with all openSAP courses, this is delivered free of charge and is open to everyone in the world interested in the topic. All you need to join is a valid e-mail address.
