SAP UA Participated in the Launch of the Industry Skills Center Launch at Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) in Gaborone in February 2015
SAP UA, represented by Kwena Mabotja attended and participated in the launch of the Industry Skills Center at Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) in Gaborone on 12 February 2015. The Industry Skills Center is a bold step towards imparting industry skills to students, bridging the gap between academia and industry and empowering students with the skills that they need to start successful careers in the ICT industry.
During the launch, BAC was welcomed by Kwena as a Full Member of SAP University Alliances through a short speech. A certificate of membership was then handed over to the BAC. The launch was well represented by media from Botswana and a short clip of Kwena’s speech was aired on the evening news.
BAC is eager to incorporate SAP in their academic programmes:
– BSc Honours Business Intelligence and Analytics – targeting the BW Netweaver platform/ SAP Business Objects route
– BSc Honours Project Management Systems – targeting the SAP Project Systems module
– BSc Honours Business Enterprise Systems – targeting TERP 10.
We look forward to working with BAC on their journey with SAP and more specifically, SAP UA.
