Live2 - Building a Simple Social Networking Solution with SAP HANA

The SAP HANA Academy's Live2 course shows step-by-step how to build a simple social networking solution using the native capabilities within the SAP HANA platform. After detailing how to build a mobile application that suggests potential new contacts from a social network based on the Link prediction algorithm the Live2 course shows how to build storyboards and visualizations in SAP Lumira of historical Twitter data analyzed with SAP HANA Text Analysis.

Tweets from the 2008 American presidential debate are extracted from Hadoop and loaded into SAP HANA One. We show how to build Analytic views within SAP HANA studio so we can expose the data to SAP Lumira. You will learn how to merge data from MySQL and SAP HANA within SAP Lumria and how to enrich the data. After text and sentiment analysis are preformed on the data SAP Lumira is used to build a myriad of visualizations and storyboards in SAP Lumira. How to deploy these visualizations into SAP Lumira Cloud is also covered.
