Important Neptune tool transactions

Here is the list of some of the important Neptune tool transactions and what they do.

There are NO end user transactions, this will only be used by Developers and Administrators.

Please add a comment if I missed any and I will gladly update. The intent of this post is to summarize the relevant T-Codes for posterity and to be used as a quick lookup.

See below for a one liner description of what each of the transactions do and how we intend to use them if at all.

/NEPTUNE/ADMIN : provides an area menu style access in a web browser for the Analytics, Users, Performance and License transactions.

Analytics – Monitor usage of applications

Users – view he users who are using the applications

Performance – Performance testing

License – View and maintain licence key information

/NEPTUNE/APPCACHE : Configure mobile applications (generated by Neptune tool) in app security settings and “appcache” HTML5 page refresh approach.

/NEPTUNE/BUILDER : Core start creation of application projects and integration with CTS.  Expect create and change will only happen in Development box.

/NEPTUNE/CATALOG :  Provides a sort of internal app store for end users to browse, discover and install apps from.Through NAM you can do that of addition of apps.

/NEPTUNE/CLIENT : Screen to run Neptune HTML5 applications within a standard SAP GUI (without browser).

/NEPTUNE/DESIGNER : Build HTML5 applications and mobile apps using the SAPUI5 libraries.

/NEPTUNE/EXP_PHONEG : Functionality to manage the build of the mobile application into the “phonegap” container.  Includes the available device native feature API’s, properties, iconography, theme and setting per device type ( iOS/Android/BlackBerry/WinMob)

/NEPTUNE/EXP_WIN8 : Build mobile application into a dedicated Win8 package

/NEPTUNE/IMP_THEME : Import theme if already available

/NEPTUNE/LAUNCHPAD : Obsolete – program does not exist

/NEPTUNE/LICENSE : Manage the license key and limits for the system.

/NEPTUNE/NAM : Manage the policy for assignment of an application to a user either directly to a UID or via an ABAP role.

/NEPTUNE/NAPPSTORE : Now obsolete – this is the earlier version of the APPCATALOG

/NEPTUNE/SETTINGS : Global setting for the Neptune App Designer tool (used by developers) controlling features such as the theme of the design screens, JS editor type to be used, preview application URL etc.

/NEPTUNE/THEMEDESIGN : Shortcut URL for the SAP UI theme designer tool.

/NEPTUNE/WEB_CLIENT : Simple browser based client with landing page onto which applications may be launched.
