With the introduction of the Business Suite on SAP HANA and now SAP S4/HANA the need for a database migration to the SAP HANA platform becomes more important. As soon as you have moved the SAP Business Suite to the HANA platform it will be possible to take advantage of SAP S/4HANA components as they become available. This means that if you are still on anyDB the need to migrate to SAP HANA becomes very important.
Moving your anyDB SAP Business Suite system to SAP Business Suite on HANA is easier then you think. You might think your need to do a difficult OS/DB migration, but this is not the case. SAP has introduced an new tool called the Database Migration Option (DMO) which makes migrating your existing system to SAP HANA much easier.
