This Wednesday, February 04th, 20 students from the prestigious engineering school “Centrale Paris” were welcome at SAP Labs Paris for getting a deeper understanding of our company and technology. This is the second year in a row that Centrale Paris students set foot in our facilities; and for this newest edition, the first-year students were exposed to the whys and wherefores of the company, and more broadly, its professions and industry.
As part of the tour, the students had the chance to take a look at our very unique AppHaus, where SAP employees work together on new and innovative products. Students were appealed by this unique system of work and could easily project themselves working an environment they found friendly and stimulating.
Then, by walking into one of our ultra-high-tech conference room, powered by a Cisco solution, the students were thrilled with what they saw: “It feels like we are in the future!” confessed one of them.
The importance of keeping up with the younger ones is to capitalize on people who can make the difference tomorrow, as attested by Eric Fenollosa, SAP Labs Paris MD: “Receiving students from top French engineering schools is all about increasing SAP’s reputation by showcasing how SAP continuously innovates through its Labs. On top of nurturing our local academic ecosystem, this is a way to attract early talents and to influence future industry leaders and decision makers”.
