In 2014, SAP launched the first localized version of its global platform, openSAP. openSAP is SAP’s open online course provider delivering free courses on SAP’s innovative solutions such as SAP HANA, Cloud, and Mobile. Over 8,000 users in China joined the openSAP China platform in Q4 2014 to Get to Know SAP’s Innovative Enterprise Solutions.

Participants in the first course delivered through Chinese were invited to take part in a coffee corner session at the SAP Shanghai office to provide their feedback on the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) format in China and what they would like to see in the future from openSAP China. Top of the list was SAP HANA and big data so to meet the requests of openSAP users in China, BI Clients and Applications on SAP HANA will be delivered in Chinese over a course of six weeks starting March 11.

By introducing a Business Intelligence (BI) Strategy to your business, you can reduce challenges and demonstrate clear benefits such as increased user satisfaction, consistently performing BI solutions, and a reduction in total cost of ownership. SAP provides a range of BI clients and applications which are optimized for SAP HANA, delivering significant speed and agility.

SAP’s Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team invite you to join a free openSAP course BI Clients and Applications on SAP HANA where you can gain hands-on experience in deploying business intelligence on SAP HANA, leveraging it both as a data source and as a platform. Learn about the new features in SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.1, and how it is optimized for SAP HANA. Benefit from best practices around design, development, and troubleshooting of BI content, and simplify your SAP BusinessObjects BI toolkit.

You can also experience SAP Lumira, in the desktop, cloud, and server releases to create amazing visualizations that can be consumed anywhere. With SAP Lumira, business analysts can combine data sources to see the big picture as well as the details.  IT can govern and administer data, visualizations, and users by leveraging their existing analytics infrastructure.

BI Clients and Applications on SAP HANA starts from March 11 and enrollment is now open. The course is targeted at BI Developers and Business/Data Analysts, but is open to anyone interested in learning about BI.  Registration, learning content, final exam, and Record of Achievement are free of charge.
